Mindcolor Autism's North Colorado Springs center provides compassionate, individualized ABA therapy and autism diagnostic evaluations for children across northern El Paso County — the Briargate area, Monument, Black Forest, and communities near the Air Force Academy.
Early intervention is our focus. We specialize in toddlers and preschoolers, starting as young as age 2, with programs built around play, early communication, social engagement with peers, adaptive and self-help skills (including toileting readiness), and preschool and kindergarten readiness — so children build a strong foundation during the years that matter most.
Our clinical approach. Since 2019, we've delivered naturalistic, play-based ABA built around the whole child. Every plan is BCBA-led and delivered 1:1, with individualized goals, a deliberate focus on generalizing skills to home and community, hands-on caregiver training, and systematic progress monitoring. Clinical quality is at the forefront of everything we do, and we deliver it through high-quality BCBA supervision of every case, limited BCBA caseloads, and regular caregiver participation and training.
Coordinated speech and occupational therapy. For a young child, communication, feeding, sensory, and motor needs often overlap with ABA goals. Our clinicians coordinate closely with speech-language pathologists (SLPs) and occupational therapists (OTs) so those needs are addressed together rather than in isolation.
A space built for young children. Our center is purpose-built for early learners, with dedicated areas for gross-motor and sensory play, pretend play, small peer groups, and mealtime and self-help routines. At age 3, the environment ABA happens in matters as much as the therapy itself.
As the only ACQ-accredited ABA provider in Colorado (Autism Commission on Quality), Mindcolor meets rigorous, independently verified standards for clinical quality, ethics, and care.
