What do we do?
We provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to help improve the lives of children and families impacted by autism.
What is ABA?
ABA is the most commonly prescribed evidence-based treatment for ASD, validated by decades of research and endorsed by leading health agencies.
It is a highly structured treatment method that applies the science of behavior analysis to a clinical setting by collecting data for problematic skills or behavior and developing changing responses.
Efficacy of ABA
More than 20 studies have established that intensive and long-term ABA therapy improves outcomes for children with autism.
These studies show gains in intellectual functioning, language development, daily living skills and social functioning.
our services
SOAR
program
Our SOAR program is a comprehensive early intervention program that provides individualized ABA therapy to enhance school readiness for children.
The program aims to produce positive changes across functional areas including cognitive, adaptive, social and emotional domains, and ranges from highly structured lessons to more naturalistic, play-based programming.
Typically 25 to 40 hours per week.
SPARK
program
Our SPARK program is a focused ABA treatment program that targets a smaller number of treatment goals and is appropriate for individuals who need treatment in a select number of key functional skills, or have acute behavior that should be prioritized.
Typically 20 hours per week or less.
Social Skills
program
Our Social Skills program is designed to work on pro-social behavior through group interactions.
Each child is assessed individually to ensure proper group placement that focuses on their individual needs.
We offer our Social Skills program as part of our Soar or Spark program.
Parent
program
Our Parent Participation Training program works with parents to ensure skills learned in therapy are incorporated into their child’s daily routine and reinforced consistently at home.
Parents who are actively involved in their child’s therapy often see more progress in their child.
We offer our Parent Participation Training program as part of our Soar or Spark program.

Obtaining a diagnosis of autism is often the first step in helping a child with autism. A diagnosis is determined through a diagnostic evaluation, which is required for ABA therapy.
A comprehensive diagnostic evaluation uses questionnaires, interviews, natural environment observations, and diagnosis-specific testing instruments to provide specific diagnoses for autism. The diagnostic report is reviewed with the family to guide next steps for getting the child the support they need.
How to get a diagnostic evaluation?
We can help you through the process of obtaining a diagnostic evaluation. We currently offer diagnostic evaluations at our locations in Texas (Austin and San Antonio) and Colorado (Colorado Springs, Castle Rock, and South Centennial / Denver).
We also have close relationships with local diagnosticians at all our locations and can connect you with the appropriate clinician to get started.
If you are seeking a diagnostic evaluation for your child, please give us a call at 1-833-MINDABA (1-833-646-3222) or email us at diagnostics@mindcolorautism.com.
